Earlier last month, Â鶹AV (Â鶹AV) celebrated 27 winning performances at the provincial Skills BC competitions at the Tradex centre in Abbotsford. All gold-medallists advance to the next level, the (SCNC) being held in Regina, Sask. this week, May 29-30.

This year’s SCNC welcomes over 500 competitors from all regions of Canada taking part in over 40 skilled trade and technology competitions.

Cynthia Nguyen, Â鶹AV Graphic Design student and gold-medal hopeful for this year’s competition, shares, “I’m going to make my last year of education at Â鶹AV count. My workflow and style are what make me unique. I’m competing in Skills to test myself and see how much more I need to learn. I want to be better, and what better place to be in than a timed competition with limited resources.”

The event is open to the public at the Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) District, where exhibitors will have interactive booths and activities to engage with young and aspiring trade students.

Join us in cheering on and wishing our 11 outstanding students all the best as they contend for the top spots in the country! Watch the and follow updates on social media using #SCNC2025. Go Team Â鶹AV!
